Research partnerships

Chimie ParisTech gives priority to research collaborations. The laboratories of the College are mixed units in which several different organisms may interact. This openness is guaranted by a circulation of researchers and ideas.

Partnerships with industry

Chimie ParisTech has numerous links with industry in the chemical industry as well as energy, pharmacy, nuclear, and metallurgy, among others.

Offers of interships and employment, consultation with the Junior Entreprise managed by the students, the sponsoring of colloques and presentations, and forums of recrutment. Financial support includes the Taxe d’Apprentissage and research contracts.

Initial training

Discovering engineering careers and their diversity
Participation of industry during the first two years of training : conferences, seminars, workshops and round table discussions, specific sponsoring of each year.

Professional Training
3rd year program established in partnership with the concerned industry. 80% of teaching carried out by industry experts. Simulation of job interview, industrial procedures study to be carried out on site.

Two mandatory internships
 End of first year : 1 to 2-month (july/august) - company initiation internship
 End of second year : 4 to 5-month (april the 1st to end of august) - engineering internship

100 % of all the internships take place abroad.

Professional Communication
A 4-days seminar at the beginning of the 3rd year, presented by psycho-analysists, consultants and specialists in industrial communication.

Entrepreneurship Training
3rd year (in partnership with the University of Paris IX-Dauphine-and the MBA of the Ecole nationale des Ponts et chaussées)
6 days of courses on innovating and creating projects, which can be extended through the option of innovation workshops : tutored projects concerning setting up a company (6 months).

Technology transfer
All forms of technology transfer are offered :
 Consultancy
 Research contracts in partnership (2.1 M €/year)
 Access to scientific analysis and characterization services
 Joint ENSCP and Industry laboratories
 Prospective seminars conducting with scientific industrial management team in order to identify common interests

Admission of overseas students who have obtained a bachelor degree from an partner university, renown for its quality scientific training, to prepare :
 Chimie ParisTech Engineer Diploma : 4 semesters with a 10-month company internship
 Master of Science and Engineer Diploma : 15 months with a 5-month company internship
