Two broad research areas :
All of the pedagogic faculty are active in research in the areas they teach.
Research is organized in intralaboratory scientific projects at the interface of disciplines. These projects correspond to the strong axis of the competence available at Chimie ParisTech in areas of priority interest to our national and worldwide needs.
| System modelling | Aging and durability of materials (corrosion and corrosion protection) |
| Imagery | Green chemistry |
| Elecrochemical probes | Nanocristals |
| DNA chips | Pharmacy |
| Thin film materials for solar and fuel cells | Plasmas |

The research center disposes the latest analytical instrumentation. In addition to the classical methods of chemical analysis - nuclear magnetic resonance, mass spectrometry, infrared spectroscopy, ICP atomic emission spectroscopy, etc. – the center is fully equipped with surface and metallurgical analysis… X-ray photoelectron and Auger spectroscopy, time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction, among others.
Covering 300 m2, the library has a rich collection of over 300 paper periodicals and 2 600 electronic references as well as other works and references series.
The Library is open to all students and teachers-researchers from Chimie ParisTech, ParisTech members and the Life Sciences pole of the Montagne Sainte Genevieve.
