By entering Chimie ParisTech in september 2007 I finally found a way to combine my different centers of interest.
First of all, Chemistry and science. Indeed, what I liked was the fact that the school emphasizes many different scientific areas and enables us to chose among a great variety of majors. I did not want to specialise myself right away as I hadn’t yet found out which part of chemistry interested me more specifically.
I was born in the United-States, lived in different parts of France and I travelled in many countries around the world, and so I wanted to keep learning about different languages and cultures. ParisTech offers this possibility. I am currently learning Chinese and am thinking of sduting in China. The school has many agreements with Universities everywhere in the world which allows this. Moreover, studying in Paris is a great opportunity to discover the very rich cultural diversity that inlightens the capital.
Concerning extracurricular activities, the possibilities are vast. I am part of a music band, I act in the school plays, I helped win a sailing regatta and I go climbing every week.
Chimie ParisTech is an amazing place to study.
